Luke and Naomi kick off Episode 6 with “This Week in Science.” The segment in this installment covers a story about a robot landing on an asteroid and bringing back samples. They also discuss a scientist who is trying to make “robots that are truly human-like” (and we KNOW how much Naomi isn’t on board with this). The team also talks about Galopogos turtles, five planets that will be visible to the naked eye, and an Alzheimer’s drug that’s being used to help “re-grow” teeth.

Then it’s time for Cruise Talk! Last episode, Luke and Naomi mentioned that they booked a cruise. It will be their first cruise, and they have no idea what to expect or what exactly they’re doing. In this episode, Naomi admits that she’s a little worried about this experience, even though she has been passing the blame on Luke, stating he’s the scared one. Luke has mentioned he isn’t a fan of open waters and is wondering how he is going to handle that on this trip. Naomi opens up and says she’s afraid of the ship itself. It’s so big, how does it even stay afloat?! She also explains her fear of motion sickness and is worried she will end up spending the majority of the trip in the bathroom.

That leads to the topic from last week – Cruise ship tips, tricks, and advice. Luke and Naomi share your answers to the topic including some great advice from Stacey to bring lots and lots and LOTS of sunscreen. They also share tips about getting a drink package, bringing a “carry-on bag,” and ordering extra food, especially at dinner! Hear all the cruise trip advice in the podcast below.

Luke and Naomi also talk about Two Bit Circus, a micro amusement park. It’s basically a hotel, arcade, carnival, escape room, and other “curiosities,” all wrapped into one venue. The company that started this micro amusement park has expanded to a second location in Dallas, Texas, and has bought up many other hotels in an effort to continue expanding all over the country. Sounds like a fun place for date night!

Video games are good for you – There’s even a study to prove it, the Taco Bell of the future is coming, and more dad jokes to get you through another week. Luke and Naomi wrap up with their topic for next week that you can be a part of – Straws… Do they have one hole or two?
