“Stray,” JD and the Badlands Band, and Things That Are No Longer Socially Acceptable | Podcast Episode 17

The Big 1-7… It’s Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. Thanks for joining us!

Soooo…. We’re a little late to this week’s episode, but it’s not for a bad reason, it was Labor Day. We took some extra time off, but it wasn’t a break because Luke actually had to work. The radio station he works with was putting on a free concert for “Almost Monday.” Not a bad way to spend a workday!

Speaking of music, JD and The Badlands Band, our musical friends from The Country Giant in Roswell, New Mexico, has officially released their new single. It’s called “Meant to Be.” Check it out here: https://open.spotify.com/track/55FNiNrzxetMZVCuzjMxXS?si=4f5040816bf84dd0

In this week’s episode, we talk about “Stray,” the video game Naomi had mentioned a couple of week’s ago (a video game she actually wanted to play), fantasy football, an update on the Disney+ series “She-Hulk,” and plenty more.

We have a LOT of Entertainment News to get through including Brendan Fraser the six minute standing ovation he received, Lynard Skynyrd retiring, and a bunch of artists who had to cancel their shows for various reasons.

We also talk about things that were socially acceptable 20 years ago, but aren’t acceptable now, red flags that are not actually red flags in relationships, and we go over the answers from last week’s topic “Tiny changes you’ve made in your life because of a movie or tv show.” We start going off the rails a bit, but it’s worth it! Check out this week’s podcast episode in the video below:
