“Christine” Has Died, Ranch on Grapes, and a Space Probe with the WORST Suggested Names | Podcast Episode 18

Welcome back!

In this week’s episode of Luke and Naomi On-Air, we share our hectic, crazy week. The big news? …The car died. Really. Dead. There is no reviving it, it’s a goner. We have only one car, we’ve only had one car since 2015. Luke dropped Naomi off at work and on his way back home, the car just stopped. It stopped right in the middle of the road!

Luke was lucky enough to have some good friends at Seaside Tire and Wheels in Wilmington that came to the rescue. They pushed the vehicle into a parking lot and waited for the tow truck. The hope was it was just a fuel pump issue or something small, but that was not the case. “Catastrophic failure” was the words that was thrown around.

We then spend some time reminiscing about all the adventures “Christine” had, and how we took her all over the country, and all the vacations we used her for. Check out the podcast below for the full story of the car dying and when Naomi found out that this was a bigger issue than needing to replace a part or two.

Long story short, Luke and Naomi have a new vehicle!

Also on this week’s podcast Luke breaks the news about a Cowboys football player getting hurt and how the season is already over (at least in Luke’s eyes). The Queen has passed away, roller coaster talk, and ranch on grapes?!

We also go over the plans to send a space probe to another planet and someone got the genius idea that maybe the public should name it. What planet is it going to? Take a wild guess… Uranus. And what kind of names did everyone come up with? OhMyGoodness, hear. for yourself in the podcast below:

[…] In episode 18 (wayyyy back at the start of our podcasting escapades), we said goodbye to “Chri… our vehicle that we had dragged all over the country, and had been with us through many adventures. Well, we decided to donate our vehicle to “Kars 4 Kids.” Because we donated our vehicle, we got a voucher for a hotel stay. We decided to use that voucher for our little getaway to Asheville. This decision (and a few others), allowed us to do this trip on a budget… Besides the beer. We knew we were going to spend to our heart’s content when it came to craft beer. […]
