Let’s do this – Luke and Naomi are back!

We kick off this week with some football talk – Naomi may have won their football pool, so she’s pretty excited. We talk about the injury on the Bills team, and how the Lions are a “headache of a team.”

It’s been a pretty boring week, besides Naomi’s big news – She got a new job! We talk clothes shopping because she now has to dress “professionally” which she has never had to do at any job she’s ever had before. We also talk about how tiring starting a new job can be, and how Naomi has been just working and sleeping… And is still tired (and even woke up late AFTER taking a nap and going to bed early the day before).

Luke has your “Weekly Dose of Did You Know,” some random facts to get through your week, we talk more AI stuff and this one Naomi isn’t afraid of, and SAT Tests getting lost in the mail… No, for real. Students are going to have to retake the SATs after their tests apparently fell off a truck and are now missing. Check out the details on these stories and more in the Podcast Video below.

We also talk about a crazy woman from North Carolina who called 911 after placing an order at a restaurant, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees for 2022, which included Eminem, Dolly Parton, and Duran Duran, just to name a few.

Social media is having a negative effect on people and we have the survey. And speaking of social media, Elon Musk is causing trouble on Twitter after cleaning house and then trying to figure out ways to make more money with the platform. His ruckus backfires and even him and the author Stephen King end up going back-and-forth in a Twitter fight.

We go over more answers from our topic “What goofy things can you do in someone’s house to confuse them.” Brian from England had some fantastic answers we just had to share! And Luke’s mom had dropped off a Christmas present when his family came to visit and Naomi wants Luke to open it. They debate whether you can open a present early, even if you get permission to do so. This even came to a vote… And it looks like the answer is “no.” Luke is going to have to wait until Christmas to see what’s in the box, but it’s Naomi who is having a harder time with that answer.

And in this week’s episode of Luke and Naomii On-Air, we unofficially kickoff a new feature, that will soon become the main focus of our podcast – Naomi’s “Under a Rock Reviews.” if you listened to our Morning Show in New Mexico, you know that every time we had a topic that pertained to movies, Naomi was completely in the dark. The famous line was “I live under a rock” and that’s why Naomi hadn’t seen any of the movies that everyone else has already seen. We’re talking Ghostbusters, Pretty Woman, Peter Pan, The Godfather, Saving Private Ryan, honestly, any movie you could think of, Naomi probably hasn’t seen. That being said… Naomi finally watches two different movies that have been on her ever-growing list, “Hocus Pocus” and “The Shining.”
