Hey we’re back! We apologize for the break, but the studio is set up and we are ready to continue the fun. Thanks for joining us for Episode 63 of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast.
Well, it’s been a couple of weeks so we have a few things to fill you in on. First, we moved! It’s official. We are in our new apartment, and we have our new studio set up, which is what took us the longest, and had kept us from recording for the last week or so. Luke’s work hosted a Battle of the Bands with some local bands. The winner had one of their songs added into rotation on the local radio station – How cool is that?! But the event itself was awesome! There were a couple of beach days in there, including one where we just planned on having lunch and watching the waves, but we saw all these people and a bunch of kites. Apparently there was a huge kite festival and we had no idea. It was pretty cool to crash that event. Between all that, beer club, Brewskee-Ball, and just trying to unpack and re-organize after moving, we have been crazy busy. But it’s been good.

We have another Sips and Snacks episode coming up for you. Just in time for Thanksgiving, this is a good one. If you need a beer and wine to pair with your Thanksgiving dinner, we will have you covered, thanks to Fermental and Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn. Check out our YouTube page for that video, or you’ll find it under the “Photos and Videos” tab on our homepage.
We discuss the Toy Hall of Fame inductees (we mentioned the nominees a couple of months back, but now we have the winners). We also talk about the rules of group chats. If you have a couple of group text messages going, whether is for work or your friends, or whatever it may be, you’ll want to hear these… Check them out in the podcast episode below!
Let’s talk embarrassing moments most of us can relate to, Luke has your random facts for the week, and we go over your answers to our Facebook Topic (from a month ago!) – “Fall isn’t fall without…” We had some great answers, including some really sweet, heartfelt responses, some funny, goofy ones, and even a few sarcastic, literal ones. They’re pretty good.
And we haven’t forgotten – Naomi has another “Under a Rock Review” for you. This time she sits down to watch the sequel to “The Wizard of Oz,” “Return to Oz.” Did you know there was a sequel?! And it was nothing like the first movie. Naomi will take you on a walk down memory(nightmare) lane! Listen to Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast Episode 63 here:
