Welcome to Episode 64 of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. Thanks for joining us for more fun!
In this podcast episode, we start by recapping the last couple of weeks. Yes, we took another mini-break, but hey, it was Thanksgiving! Our skeeball skeeson is over. We made it to the playoffs (thanks to our third teammate, the one and only Ashley Rogers – Who is also our beer and wine guru for Sips and Snacks), but we were out after the second round. But we had SO much fun, and are looking into doing it again for the next skeeson. If you’re interested or would like more information about the Wilmington Brewskee-Ball League, check out their Facebook page here.
We also have another Sips and Snacks segment for you! It was a unique snack this time around – The Churkeychanga from Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn in Wilmington. It’s a Thanksgiving dinner wrapped up in a flour tortilla, then deep-fried. We brought a couple of those bad boys to Fermental and had Ashley Rogers pair a beer and wine to go with them. It’s great too, because those chosen beverages would go perfect with your Thanksgiving dinner… Even if it’s not in burrito-form. Check out the video under our “Photos and Videos” tab on the homepage, or you can see the story and video here. More Sips and Snacks videos are coming!
Before we get to Luke’s random facts – Your weekly dose of “Did You Know,” we discuss a very interesting “Would You Rather” question: “Would you rather have someone give you a million dollars right now, or 3 cents for every step you take for the rest of your life?”
We also talk about the funniest pet names and we read some of your comments from last episode’s Under a Rock Review of “Return to Oz.” Sorry, everyone!
And speaking of our Under a Rock Review, we’ve got another one for you! Naomi sits down and watches the 1992 hit movie starring Al Pacino, “Scent of a Woman.” What did she think of it? Would she recommend it to someone who hasn’t seen it? What was her favorite part? Find out those answers and more in this installment of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast below:
