Let’s kick things off with a quick recap of the last couple of days, which included our Not-So-Polar Plunge at Fort Fisher to ring in the New Year. We had a great time, and we’re already looking forward to our Not-So-Polar Plunge for 2025.

As we start the new year, Luke found this cool article about predictions for what the year 2024 would be like from people in 1924. Some of the predictions were pretty interesting like thinking horses would go extinct (seeing as we wouldn’t need them for transporation anymore), and assuming the average life expectancy would be 100 years. Luke has another segment of “Did You Know,” some random facts for your day, and we go over our Facebook topic from last week “What’s the worst name for a great dish?” Some of our favorite answers included “Shit on a shingle,” “Whatchamacallit,” and “Green Funk.”

And we have our first ever double feature. For this episode’s “Under a Rock Review,” Naomi reviews two movies – Rocky and Rocky II. It’s going to be a little bit longer of a segment, but it will be worth it, especially when you hear the one thing Naomi didn’t know about the Rocky movies… And it’s a big one!
