Luke and Naomi On Air

We’re back! We survived the jungle and our adventures. And now we can’t wait to tell you all about them! Welcome to episode 68 of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast.

We’ve been off for a couple of weeks. We went on vacation to Costa Rica with some friends, spending a couple of days in the mountains, and a couple of days down on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Before we went on vacation, in Episode 67, we talked about an article that suggested if you wear red on a flight, you may get better service. Luke had to test out this theory, and wore red on our way to Costa Rica and on our way home. Did it work? Did we get better service than the average person would have? Also in our last episode, we introduced the game “Monkey or Frog.” What seems more likely to happen in Costa Rica: Luke touching a monkey or Naomi touching a poisonous frog? Actually, the colorful frogs Naomi was so excited to see, must have been hiding pretty well. She didn’t see any! Well, one… That jumped onto the vehicle while they were driving up the mountains. We’re pretty sure that didn’t have a happy ending. We saw plenty of monkeys while staying on the coast. Imagine seeing monkeys swinging from the trees outside your house, like how we see squirrels everywhere in the US. Luke did not touch a monkey, though. Technically neither one of us touched the wildlife, which is a good thing. Shoutout to Valerie and David for putting together everything for the trip and letting us tag along! And shoutout to Jarren and Jasmine, longtime friends of Valerie and David who shared in our adventures and made the trip that more memorable! It was an awesome vacation.
