Feast Wilmington, an Expensive Craft Beer Purchase, Snuggle Stories and Naomi’s Under a Rock Review of “The Neverending Story” | Podcast Episode 73

Food set up at Feast Wilmington

Hello and welcome to another episode of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The podcast. Thanks for joining us for episode 73!

Uh-oh, Naomi is once again, getting over being sick. And unfortunately was sick for her birthday. But at least it was a Wednesday birthday, and not a birthday on the weekend. Being sick for your birthday, and having it on a Saturday? No bueño. But the good news is she’s feeling better (she just sounds a little rough).

Okay, let’s get into this! Even though Naomi was a little sick, it didn’t stop us from going out and enjoying our week. We went to “Feast Wilmington,” which was a fantastic event where local restaurants teamed up with breweries to create food that paired with beers. The event was actually a couple days long, with different focuses and features each day, but of course we were there for the beer and restaurant pairing – Their “Craft and Cuisine Brewery and Restaurant Pairings.” Places like Bill’s Brewing Company teamed up with Dram Yard, and Flytrap Brewing collaborated with The Boat Landing Restaurant. The combinations were incredible, and the food was heavenly! This will give you an idea of the setup:

Be on the lookout for videos and more pictures from our “Feast Wilmington” experience. It was phenomenal!

And speaking of phenomenal beer experiences, we also tried a very unique (and expensive) craft beer. You gotta hear the story of NAOMI (that’s right, it wasn’t Luke doing the spending), spending nearly $100 on one bottle of beer!!! Was it worth it?! Listen to the podcast episode at the bottom of this page to find out!

Other stories we cover this week include snuggle stories from reddit, Luke has your recurrent dose of “Did You Know,” we talk about the furthest you’ve driven for a concert, and we go over your celebrity riders – If you were a musician or celebrity, what kind of things would you ask for when you’re performing in a city? Of course, Brian from England included Hidden Valley Ranch in his answer (can you blame him?) Hear all the other answers and get the full stories in this week’s podcast episode below.

And Naomi gets comfortable on the couch for another “Under a Rock Review.” We watch another 80s fantasy-style film, in the hopes it gets a better review than some in the past, in the same category. Cue up “The Neverending Story.” Did Naomi like it? And what did she think of the famous Artax scene? How about the Rock Biter? Find out, here:
