It’s Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast, and we’ve made it to Episode 79… Getting even closer to the big 1-0-0! Welcome, and thanks for joining us.
Let’s dive right into this week’s episode. Quick update on the salsa garden situation. The plants are doing great! We have lots of little sprouts, that are growing like crazy. They have not started wilting or dying yet! Way to go, Naomi! (and… we may have to thank Luke as well. He has been caring for the plants, too).
We discuss the adult tasks that sounded boring when we were younger, but now are exciting. Things like, organizing, bird-watching, sitting in silence or doing absolutely nothing, and paying bills. Okay, it’s not that we like paying bills, but it’s satisfying when the bills are paid. Also on the list was high-quality bedding, going to the farmer’s market, and leftovers. We feel a little personally attacked by this list… maybe we are getting older…
Of course we have your recurrent dose of “Did You Know,” Luke’s random facts, we go over your answers to our Facebook topic from last week, “Is ET considered scary” (like, the character, not necessarily the movie), and we kick off another topic that you get to be a part of – We want to know what small things do you do that make you feel like a grown-up? We’ll discuss your answers in next week’s episode.
Now, we know why you’re here. It’s time for Naomi’s Under a Rock Review. This week we watch “rowdy teens” that don’t want to behave and follow rules in the 1984 classic, “Footloose.” Does she like it? What does she think of the storyline, and of Kevin Bacon’s dance moves? Would she recommend it to someone who hasn’t watched it? (Is there anybody else who HASN’T seen the movie?!?!) Find out those answers and more in this week’s podcast episode below:
