If you’re new to Luke and Naomi On-Air, we are a former morning show team that have now taken to the internet waves with our podcast. We’ve kept a lot of pieces of our morning show like a weekly topic that you can participate in and various stories, but we’ve also added Naomi’s Under a Rock Review. Luke has seen all the movies, Naomi hasn’t seen any… Like, any. She watches all the classics for the first time, and reviews them. We’ll have another Under a Rock Review for you, coming up at the end of this podcast.

Our friends in New Mexico – We’re watching you!! We’ve seen all the flooding stories, and seen the pictures. Our thoughts are with all of you, during this extreme weather situation. We also appreciate those who “mark themselves safe” on Facebook.

We have a new installment of Sips and Snacks for you! Make sure you subscribe to our YouTube Channel so you get the notifications each time we post a new video. This time, we brought in Naomi’s favorite snack – Taco Bell! That’s right, we made our way to Fermental in the Cargo District, and Ashley Rogers was able to pair a beer and wine to complement Taco Bell tacos. We also had a surprise treat that Ashley also paired a beer with. Check out the video here.

Let’s talk about beer. You know we’re big into the craft beer scene and have tried a variety of different beers from numerous breweries. In our free time, we are a part of a beer club, AND we just talked about Sips and Snacks, where we sample beer and wine paired with food. But, this beer may be a little too much, even for us. At the Texas State Fair, a beer was unveiled. A mustard beer. Mustard. Like, the condiment you put on a hotdog. Thick, yellow, mustard beer. Would you try it? Mustard is good. Beer is good. New words (and phrases) have been added to the dictionary! 200 of them! Obviously, we’re not going to cover all of them, but we do have a couple of good ones to mention. “Beach read,” “IDGAF,” and “Shadow Ban” are a few of the new additions.

We also talk about movie etiquette rules, Luke has your recurrent dose of “Did You Know,” and we discuss the best sauces. By the way, Naomi is HEARTBROKEN by the amount of people who would be okay with not having ranch anymore!

Of course, we have another Under a Rock Review for you. This week, Naomi sits down, meets John Kimble and recaps the 1990 comedy “Kindergarten Cop.” Luke also has waaayyyy too much fun with the sound board. Did Naomi like the movie? What surprised her?
