We are just a few episodes away from triple-digits! Welcome to Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. Thanks for joining us!
If you’re new to Luke and Naomi On-Air, hello! We’re a married morning show team that have moved from the radiowaves to the internet waves. We bring a lot of our morning show bits to the podcast, like various stories for discussion and a weekly topic you get to be a part of! We also have Naomi’s Under a Rock Review, where Naomi reviews classic movies that everyone has already seen (except her). Re-live your first watch of favorites like, “Tombstone,” “Top Gun,” or this episode’s film, “The Fugitive.”
But before we get to the Under a Rock Review…
Luke’s happy we’ve made it to Episode 98, and explains how it’s a nice, neat number (which is understandable), but then opens a can of worms when he suggests that days of the week have specific colors associated with them. Not at all how we expected the show to start, but here we are! Apparently, red is Saturday. And blue? Luke says that’s for Thursday. Do you have specific colors for each day of the week?? Is that really a thing? Or is Luke just weird? Please let us know. Please leave a comment in the notes section at the bottom of this page, because there’s no way this is a normal thing.
Just a quick update from our last episode – We’re getting ready for the holiday season. Naomi has already gone out and done almost all her Christmas shopping! And now she’s into the holiday baking, so get ready to see a bunch of treats and such on Facebook. Also, there’s a new “Sip and Snacks” video up. We bring Flaming Amy’s “churkeychanga” to Fermental to have Ashley Rogers pair a beer and wine with it. Check out the video here.
We’ve got a big surprise for this episode. Or maybe we should say faithful listener “Brian from England,” has a big surprise for us. Last episode we talked about people using ChatGPT to win arguments. Well, Brian from England decided to use ChatGPT, but for good, not evil. He had ChatGPT write a poem about us – Luke and Naomi On-Air. This is the coolest thing! It includes Luke recurrent dose of “Did You Know,” and our Under a Rock reviews. You have to hear it for yourself, which you can in the podcast episode at the bottom of this page.
A pizza chain is getting into the wine business. Pizza Hut is going to be selling a “tomato wine,” that will supposably taste like pizza. This wine will be made with fermented tomatoes instead of grapes. Sound good? …We’re on the fence. But don’t knock it til you try it, right?! $25 a bottle.
Of course Luke has your recurrent dose of “Did You Know,” and we go over your answers from our Facebook topic from last episode, “What would you do if you woke up and the year was 2005?” Lots of us would be investing in Airbnb, that’s for sure. You can get all the full stories and all the answers to our topic in the podcast episode below.
And we’ve got another great review for you. This week, Naomi sits down to watch Harrison Ford in the 1993 thriller, “The Fugitive.” Did she like the movie? What surprised her? Would she recommend it to someone who hasn’t seen it before? Find out these answers and more, right here:
