Happy New Year! It’s back for 2025 – Our Not-So-Polar Plunge!

This is our new tradition. Every New Year’s Day, we make our way to Fort Fisher beach and take a quick dip into the ocean. Polar plunges are a very common thing, especially in the northern states. That’s why ours is called the “not-so-polar” plunge. Don’t get us wrong, it’s still cold. But we’re not breaking ice to jump into the water.

What a way to ring in the New Year! The cold water, the shock to the system, it’s like a nice reset. We’ll be plunging in again for 2026, maybe you can join us for that one?
