We’re back from our Dominican Republic adventures! Thanks for joining Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast, for our 103rd episode!

If you’re new to Luke and Naomi On-Air, welcome! We’re a married radio morning show team that has brought our show from the radiowaves to the internet. We include a variety of stories and a topic that we want you to participate in, in every show. We also have Naomi’s Under a Rock review, where she watches a classic movie that everyone has seen (besides her), and then reviews it. She’s reviewed favorite films like “Ghostbusters,” “Alien,” and “Top Gun.” We have another great review coming up on this episode.

But first…

It’s great to be back! We had an amazing time in the Dominican Republic. We stayed at the Carambola Surf House in Cabarete. We went snorkeling and tubing, and spent plenty of time on the beach and in the sun. We ate really good, too. Like, really, REALLY good. Luke has your recurrent dose of “Did You Know,” some random facts to kick off podcast episode 103. Then, we talk about “Grand Theft Auto Hamlet.” Apparently, this has been going on since the pandemic. A group of people had gotten together and while playing Grand Theft Auto online, they put together the play, “Hamlet.” And now there’s a documentary out about it, and honestly it sounds pretty cool. The Super Bowl is this weekend! We discuss a new survey that suggests 55-percent of people want the Monday after the Super Bowl to be a National Holiday. We also talk about Twix’s Super Bowl commercial contest. And we dive into the most dangerous expired foods in your fridge. This leads into a huge debate about average age of the mayo in your refrigerator. You’ll get to jump onboard with this one, on our Facebook page, and we’ll go over the answers in our next episode.

And we have another Under a Rock Review for you. This week, Naomi sits down and watches the fast-paced, drug-filled, crazy roller coaster ride, known as “The Wolf of Wall Street.” What a movie to review. It’s definitely the most amount of times Naomi has said the word “hooker” in an episode. Did she like the movie? Would she recommend it to someone who hasn’t seen it? What was her favorite part?
