Welcome to another episode of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. Thanks for joining us for #116.
If you’re new to Luke and Naomi, hello! Thanks for checking us out! We’re a former morning show team that have taken our show from the airwaves to the internet. We still do a lot of our “morning show bits,” like having a weekly topic that we ask you to be a part of, random facts – Your weekly dose of “Did You Know,” and more. But we also have new segments like our Sips and Snacks videos and Naomi’s “Under a Rock Review” – where Naomi reviews classic movies that everyone has already seen, but she’s watching for the first time. You get the opportunity to relive your first watches of movies like “Ghostbusters,” “Rocky,” “The Green Mile,” and “Footloose.” We have another great review coming up in just a little bit.
First though, we have a few things to get to…
The porch garden is growing well! Good thing Naomi has been staying away from the plants, probably the reason why they’re doing so well. We also have a long-time resident in our frog hotel. But other than that, not a whole lot going on in the Luke and Naomi household.

As always, we have some random facts for you – Your weekly dose of “Did You Know.”
We also discuss one of Luke’s favorite topic – flying cars! There’s a flying car coming out, that could be in production and available as early as next year! This has always been something Naomi hasn’t been onboard with (idiots flying into sides of buildings, and things like that). But Luke is ready for this technology. Check out the full story in the podcast episode at the bottom of this page.
Let’s talk about a sensitive topic… Using coupons. More specifically, using a coupon on a first date. Is that okay? Is that tacky? Is it frugal or cheap? It seems like a lot of people are divided on this! If you’ve been a follower of Luke and Naomi On-Air, you already know where Naomi stands on this, and how happy she would be with Luke saving a couple dollars and using a coupon on a date. But maybe for others, it’s a bad first impression, seeing as it’s a first date? What do you think? Using a coupon on a first date – Good idea or bad idea? Let us know on our Luke and Naomi On-Air Facebook Page, or you can leave your answer in the “comments section” at the bottom of this page.
Okay, let’s get to what you’ve been waiting for – Naomi’s “Under a Rock Review.” Last week, she watched Kevin Costner’s “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,” to set her up for this one – “Robin Hood: Men in Tights.” Obviously, she had to see the original first. But what did she think of this one? Did she like it more or less? Would she watch it again? What was her least favorite part? Find out these answers and more in this week’s podcast episode, here:
Original Air Date: May 26, 2025
