Getting Closer to Our Not So Polar Plunge, Law Trouble After Pocketing a Twenty, and Naomi’s Under a Rock Review of “Django Unchained” | Podcast Episode 124

Luke and Naomi Running into the Ocean on New Year's Day

Welcome back to Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. Thanks for joining us for another episode – Episode #124.

If you’re new to Luke and Naomi, hello! We’re a married morning show team that has moved from the radio waves to the internet. Our podcast still has bits from our radio days, which we call the “morning show,” but we also have a couple of new features, including Naomi’s “Under a Rock Review” – reviews of classic, favorite movies, that Naomi hadn’t seen before. We’ve got another great review coming up – Another Quentin Tarantino flick…

But first…

We’re getting closer and closer to our Not-So-Polar Plunge! Please consider joining us and/or donating, as we raise money for an amazing organization: The Caribbean Surf Connection. Donations can be made via Venmo: @Naomi-Lynn-34 You can get all the details on our Not-So-Polar Plunge here:

Luke has your recurrent dose of “Did You Know” – Some random facts for you. And we discuss another great job opportunity – Watching holiday movies and getting paid to do so.

Imagine this… You find a $20 bill. No one is around, so you pocket the money. Then a week later the police call you and state that you need to turn in the money or face a fine (and possibly a misdemeanor). Pretty crazy, right? Well apparently, that’s exactly what happened to a woman in Pennsylvania, and now she’s going viral because of the whole ordeal. In Pennsylvania, it is illegal to keep found money without “making a reasonable attempt” to find the owner. What was she supposed to do, hang up flyers?! You be the judge – Hear the full story in the podcast episode at the bottom of this page.

Let’s not waste anymore time – Let’s jump into this week’s big Under a Rock Review… Naomi sits down to watch another Quentin Tarantino movie. This time, it’s the western/action starring Jamie Foxx, “Django Unchained.” What did she think of the movie? How did she handle the nature of it? And what was the best part? Find out, in this week’s podcast episode, right here:
