Hey! Thanks for joining us for another segment of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. Welcome to Episode #131.
If you’re new to the show, thanks for stopping by! We’re a former morning show team that have traded in the airwaves for the internet. We still do a couple of “bits” from our morning show, like Luke’s random facts, discussing trending topics, and more. But we have also added new features like our “Sips and Snacks” video series and Naomi’s “Under a Rock” reviews; re-live your first watch of classic movies like “Ghostbusters,” “Tombstone,” and “The Green Mile,” as Naomi watches them (and reviews them), for the first time. We’ve got another great review coming up, but first there are a few things we’d like to get to…
We may seem a little distracted or preoccupied, but that’s because we have a big trip coming up at the end of the week. We’re making our way back to the Dominican Republic for a little rest and relaxation. We’ll also be dropping off the donations from our “Not So Polar Plunge” Fundraiser! We raised $425 during our event – AND as an added bonus, we were gifted another $75 to give to our featured charity – The Caribbean Surf Connection. You can learn more about The Caribbean Surf Connection and all the great work they do below:
We’re hoping to get some interviews and/or some good videos and pictures when we present the check for the funds raised. Make sure you keep an eye out on this website, and on our YouTube Channel for updates!
Alright! Let’s get to the show! Luke has his recurrent dose of “Did You Know” – Some random facts for you. This week, in honor of the Super Bowl, Luke’s facts are all Super Bowl themed. These little bits of knowledge are sure to be more entertaining than the game was… At least the first half of the game. You know it’s true! Hear the facts in the podcast episode at the bottom of this page.
It’s a short one this week, it’s already time for Naomi’s Under a Rock Review. We decided to go with a football-themed movie, “Any Given Sunday.” Did she like the movie? What did she think was the worst part of the film? And how about that locker room speech? Does it still hold up? Is it moving? Find out those answers and all the dirty details, in this week’s podcast episode, right here:
Original Air Date: February 9, 2026
