Happy New Year! We hope you had a great holiday season and you’re ready to start 2024 off on the right foot.

This has now become a tradition for us! After last year’s attempt to be a part of the Wrightsville Beach’s Polar Plunge and a miscommunication about the buses that were meant to pick up participants, we made our way down to Fort Fisher to take our own dip in the ocean. We found out, we enjoyed what we did and have decided that’s how we want to start every new year. Why not, right?!

This year we invited out anyone who wanted to be a part of the event. And we had a nice little turnout. Check it out:

Yes, that water was cold. Even in North Carolina. Also, who knew there was a little drop-off right offshore?! It definitely made for a more interesting plunge (and more literal).

After warming up in the sun, and a nice cup of hot chocolate, we’re ready for the New Year!
