Sips and Snacks – Pairing Beer and Wine with Little Debbie Zebra Cakes

Welcome back to another installment of “Sips and Snacks” – Our latest feature that takes us to our favorite Wilmington bottle shop, Fermental. There, we meet with the wine and beer expert Ashley Rogers, who perfectly pairs our snack choice with a craft beer and a wine.

In today’s episode we brought a classic to Fermental. A treat that will bring you back to lunches at elementary school, or remind you of grabbing your favorite treat after school. I’m talking about Little Debbie’s Zebra Cakes. It had been a while since we even had one, but this seemed like the perfect excuse to buy a box. And man, were we glad we did!

What craft beer and wine go well with Zebra Cakes? Well, check out the video below, and find out for yourself:

This is definitely up there, for one of our favorite Sips and Snacks pairings. Ashley Rogers was spot-on with the wine and it’s ability to conceal some of the Zebra Cakes waxiness. Definitely give this pairing a try!
