It’s Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast, and we’re back for episode 114. Thanks for joining us!

If you’re new to Luke and Naomi, welcome! We are a married morning show team that have traded in the airwaves for the internet-waves. Our podcast still includes a lot of our morning show “bits,” like Luke’s dad jokes, our topic that we ask you to be a part of, and random stories. But we’ve also added a few new pieces including Naomi’s “Under a Rock” reviews. Re-live your first watch of classic movies like “Ghostbusters,” “Rocky,” and “Austin Powers,” as Naomi experiences them for the first time. A quick recap of the last couple of days – We have started another garden! If you’re a long-time listener of Luke and Naomi, you know we have started quite a few gardens. Well, we’re at it again for 2025. We made our way to Home Depot to pick up soil and flower pots, as well as some tomatoes, jalapeños, a blueberry plant, and even a hanging basket with strawberries. We’ll keep you updated as the plants grow, and hopefully we’ll have a good harvest this year. (02:07)

We talk about jury duty after a crazy story where a husband and wife are called for the same trial. Wouldn’t that be a conflict of interest? Maybe not. This story happened Northern California, and apparently it’s a big enough area that the chances of this happening is like 0.0000001%. Absolutely crazy!!! But talking about jury duty has Naomi convinced that we just jinxed it and she’s going to get called. (06:07)

Can you imagine being at a restaurant, having a drink, hanging out, when all of a sudden a snake falls from the ceiling and lands right in your beverage?! Would be pretty insane, right? That’s exactly what happened to one woman at a Mexican restaurant in Richmond, Virginia. Unfortunately, she didn’t take it as a once-in-a-lifetime, crazy situation. She believes there may be an infestation or something. We think she may be taking this a little too far and needs to chalk it up to an unbelievable story.
