Welcome back to another episode of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. We’re here, we’re live, and we’re ready to get to it!

If you’re new to Luke and Naomi On-Air, we’re a former morning radio show team that has moved from the airwaves to the internet. We still do “bits” from our morning show days, but we also include a new feature – Naomi’s “Under a Rock Review,” where Naomi reviews classic movies (that everyone has already seen), as she watches them for the first time. We’ve got another great movie review coming up in this episode. It was actually suggested by one of our listeners, Paul.

But we’ll get to that in a bit.

First…

Let’s talk “Birthday Month!” Yes, it’s Naomi’s birthday month. Her birthday is coming up at the end of March. But she uses this as an excuse for the entire month, and Luke… Well, this is a plea for help for him. No matter what’s going on, no matter how big or small, Naomi has been getting her way, using the excuse that it’s her “birthday month.” But she also makes a good point for everyone else to start using that excuse as well. One issue though, Luke’s birthday is at the beginning of the month, so he’s not able to celebrate “birthday month.” Tough luck, Luke.

Of course, we have your random facts, Luke’s recurrent dose of “Did You Know.” And we talk about Tug O’ War in the Olympics. Also, speaking of the Olympics, there’s been a curling cheating scandal… Against the Canadians! Say it isn’t so! Check out the full story in the video below.

We also have a great story about the importance of play, as an adult! The article talked about finding ways to let loose and connect with your inner-child, and how adults who do so are typically more happy, healthier, and less stressed. And “play” is used very vaguely here. It can be anything – Anything that gets you out of the norm – A walk and some fresh air, wrestling with a pet, listening to your favorite podcast (hint, hint).
