It’s Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast, and we are back with another episode – another LIVE episode – full of interesting stories, topics, and another classic movie review.
Let’s get to it!
If you’re new to Luke and Naomi On-Air, we are a former morning radio show team that has since moved from the airwaves to the internet. We still have certain features and pieces from our radio days, but we’ve also added some new things, including Naomi’s “Under a Rock Reviews.” Re-live your first watch through Naomi’s eyes of classic movies like “Ghostbusters,” “Tombstone,” “The Sixth Sense,” and more. And if you haven’t seen it? Should you? …Naomi will let you know. We have an interesting movie review coming up today, but first…
We have a couple of things to get to…
We have a little Oscar Movie Award news to get to (and more coming up). And we have your recurrent dose of “Did You Know” – Luke’s random facts.
We talk a LOT about movies. I mean, it’s half of what we do here. Luke found a list of the best movies – movies that were rated 10 out of 10. He also knows there’s a movie on this list that Naomi won’t agree with. Some of the movies to make the list? “Alien.” And “Mean Girls.” “The Incredibles” also made the list. But what movie did Naomi disagree with? Find out in the video at the bottom of this page.
Have you ever wondered what was in those gift bags from The Oscars? Or do you need to feel poor, or realize you will never be living the same life as a celebrity? Well, we’ve got news for you. And it’s painful. This year’s gift bags are valued at $350,000, and the goodies?? They’re pretty extravagant – From trips to prenup help, cannabis products, and more, we’ve got a list of some of the items found in these bags. Check it out in the video below.
And finally, it’s time for our “Under a Rock Review.” This week, Naomi wanted to watch a destruction movie, which led us to the 1997 film, “Volcano.” This movie, starring Tommy Lee Jones, starts with a massive earthquake rocking Los Angeles, which causes a volcano to form under the city. What did Naomi think of the movie? Would she recommend it to someone who hasn’t seen it? Was it the disaster movie she was looking for? Find out, in this week’s podcast episode, here:
Original Air Date: March 16, 2026
