Hello! And thanks for joining us for another episode of Luke and Naomi On-Air: The Podcast. We’ve got a lot in store for this week’s show…

If you’re new to Luke and Naomi On-Air, welcome! We’re a former radio morning show team that has taken our show from the airwaves to the internet. We still have pieces of our morning show – interesting topics and stories we come across, but we’ve also added new features including Naomi’s “Under a Rock Reviews.” Re-live your first watch of commonly-known movies like “The Sixth Sense,” “Blazing Saddles,” “Rocky,” and more, through Naomi’s eyes, as she experiences them for the first time. And if you haven’t seen the movie… Should you? Well, we’ll let you know.

We have another “Under a Rock Review” coming up. One that Luke is SO excited for… But we’ll get to that shortly.

First…

We have a “birthday month” update! If you didn’t know, Naomi’s birthday is at the end of this month, and she has been enjoying celebrating, “birthday month.” Using that phrase as an excuse to do whatever she wants… because it’s her birthday. Now, she does want to make a point that she usually says “birthday month,” and how it’s a great excuse, but doesn’t actually use that power to do whatever she wants… Until this year. Luke and Naomi have been celebrating hard – Drinks with friends at DrumTrout, Girl Scout cookies for breakfast, cake, the works! Naomi has given herself something to look forward to every day leading up to her actual birthday. AND she suggests you do the same. Hear for yourself in the video at the bottom of this page.

Some sad news to report, Chuck Norris has passed away. In his honor, we have to share some of the best Chuck Norris jokes, and they’re good. Jokes like:

“Most children check their closet for the boogeyman. The boogeyman checks his closet for Chuck Norris.”

“Chuck Norris built the cabin he was born in.”

“Chuck Norris is the only person who can slam a revolving door.”

“Chuck Norris doesn’t do pushups, he does Earth-downs.”

Now the moment you (and Luke) have been waiting for… It’s time to get into this week’s “Under a Rock Review.” Naomi sits down to watch Luke’s favorite Austin Powers movie, the third installment – “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” And we are in for a ride! But you may be surprised to hear what Naomi actually thought of this movie… You probably WON’T be surprised at the moments she disliked. Would she recommend it?
